Eleanor J. Connelly

Eleanor J. Connelly passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at her daughter Susan's home surrounded by her loving family. She was 88. Born in New Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Susan Jackstis, she has been a Bristol Borough resident for the past 65 years. Mrs. Connelly was an active member of St. Mark Church, where she was a lifetime member and past Grand Regent of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. Mark and also a holy duster. She was also a chaplain at the Lower Bucks Hospital, delivered Meals on Wheels and worked at the local polls during elections. She was also a member of the St. Thomas Seniors and the Seasoned Travelers.

Predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Gerald Connelly, she is survived by her 2 daughters, Susan Wiley and her husband, Donald and Donna Waldron and her husband, Dave, her grandchildren, Colleen Cottom and her husband, Jeff, Matthew Wiley and his wife, Crystal, Kim Waldron and Amanda O'Neill and her husband, Shamus, her great-grandchildren, Brienna, Alanna, Finn, Colin, Declin, Aiden, and Maeve and her step-great-grandson, Dillon, along with several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by 3 sisters, Dorothy Kynoski, Geraldine Hromyak and Sylvia Biscoe.

Relative and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, July 16, 2021, 10:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening 7-9:00pm and Friday morning 8:30-9:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
