Edwin (Ted) Lubinski passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at home with his family. He was 60. Ted fought a long, hard battle with his health, until the end. Son of the late Edwin Lubinski and Joan (Baldwin) Lubinski, he was a lifelong resident of Levittown.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (nee Spedding) Lubinski, of 26 years, his children, Craig Jr., Rachel (Dan), Alysa (Justin) and granddaughter, Angelina. Ted is also survived by his brother Jim (Marge)”Sis”, brother-in-law Sonny Spedding (Nga), and sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Capriotti) and Jeannette (Spedding). He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Don (Spedding), sister-in-law Joanne, (Kahalehoe), and his extended family, Blair (Capriotti, Jr), Melvin (Kahalehoe) and many nieces and nephews. Ted will be sadly missed by his loyal pets, Lucy, Lily, Callie, Goldy and Andre.
Ted went to school at BCTHS for auto body, painting cars, which turned into a lifelong hobby. He was an owner operator truck driver at A Duie Pile who loved to be on the road traveling. His favorite game to play was to spot a yellow car, and shout “ I knew it” whoever said it first would win. In his pastime, Ted enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles, especially his Chevelle’s. He was also passionate about woodworking, for example, making furniture and bird houses. Ted became skilled at making bracelets with his buddy. On family vacations, down the shore, he would be found on the beach or on a boat fishing with the lures he handmade. Ted had a big sweet tooth for pies and snickers bars and was known for his great laughs and even greater adventures. One of his best gifts was his ability to share his wisdom to those in need.
