Edward C. Wallace passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 27, 2025. He was 74 years old. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frank and Gertrude (née Spicer) Wallace, was raised in Croydon and has been a Levittown resident for the past 45 years.
He was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran and rose to the rank of Sergeant. He served in the Vietnam War and received the Vietnam Service Medal with Two Stars, the National Defense Service Medal, the RVN Cross of Gallantry, and the Rifle Expert Badge. Mr. Wallace was a Police Officer with the Bristol Township Police Department for 22 years and worked for the Tullytown Police Department for a short period of time after that. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Michael Dougherty, Division I, Bristol, where he would enjoy getting together with friends from time to time. He liked researching his Family Genealogy and would read a lot of books on History. He also learned to play the bagpipes later in his life and participated in parades and funerals when asked to. He enjoyed attending church at St. Mark Church.
A big joy in his life was seeing his grandchildren and taking his dog, Storm, who he referred to as, “His Pal”, for walks in the woods.
