Edward James Evans, Jr.
June 25, 1952 - February 10, 2023
Edward James Evans, Jr. passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was 70. Born in Easton, Pa., he has been a Morrisville resident most of his life. Edward was a graduate of Morrisville High School, where he was a proud Morrisville Bulldog. He was employed as a shipping and receiving foreman at ROSCOM. Edward enjoyed all sports and he could always be seen coaching his team from the living room. He was a devout father and grandfather and cherished spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Debra (nee Criscio) Evans, his children, Megan Criscio (Paul Bernard), Patrick Evans (Jon Shiota), and Catherine Evans (John Forte) and his grandchildren, Brylee, Isabella, Nicholas and Gracie along with several siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Life Celebration on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 1-3:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough, Pa.

I have been flooded with memories of you, Buddy; suffice it to say you have not been nor will you be forgotten by those who love you. A few memorable highlights was watching you play baseball and football, your laughter and funny stories, making up nicknames for all of us, family outings that always seemed to include grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup! Our unique family that blended in 1967 from his & hers to ours. Our struggles and our triumphs, our weaknesses and combined strengths, our hopes and our dreams, some realized and others let go. Your life mattered and I am sad that your journey has come to an end. Until we meet again, I'll take comfort by the sea ... a place all of us love. I haven’t written anything until today. I guess I’ve still been processing that u r gone. Sooo many memories. Many times u babysat Lori and I. Getting pizza, ice cream, making our own tacos and making homemade popcorn in mom’s pot and it burned. Boy did we get into trouble! I don’t think we ever did that again. Lori, me and u played Yahtzee by the hour up in your room. I have to mention this u teased me for years that I used to poop in the closet. U know u told me I didn’t do it, but I think I actually did that! I remember going to your football games, baseball games and the Blue/Gold Gym Night at school. U were a good brother. U would beat up anybody I asked u to. Right or wrong u always stood up for me. I will always love u big brother and u will b missed tremendously. Love u Bud

Ed, I didn't know you that well when you were the best man at our(my) wedding..but you became a dear friend over those 50 years..I will always remember the Seaside Heights vacays .with all of the kids..1st order of fun being Maruccas Pizza on the boardwalk..then the mandatory sunburn..I'm going to always remember the happy times we all had..God Bless You Ed

Ed, please rest in pease. It was wonderful having know you and playing football with you in high school. I don’t believe I have seen you since you came to service the boiler in my apartment house 38 years ago but just recently I was making digital copies of old football files my dad took of our games and there you were playing linebacker for our team. Where has all that time gone. We will all miss you my friend and team mate but you will always be a respected member of my team forever. Again, RIP!
