Earl D. Thomas, Jr.

Earl D. “Buster” Thomas, Jr. passed peacefully on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his home in Levittown at the age of 69. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Buster was an extended resident of Levittown and a graduate of Pennsbury High School.

A proud Marine veteran, he retired from Waste Management after many years of dedicated service. His greatest joy was riding his Harley, whether it was 2 or 3 wheels!!

Devoted partner of Mattie Thompson, Buster is the father of three daughters, Bobbi Lee Hasty (Richard), Jerri and Jessica Thomas, and two stepsons, Eric and Robert Edmondson together with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers, Robert (Donna) and David (Sherry) Thomas, and sister, Kitty Holthenrichs (Bob). He was predeceased by his brother, Frederick Thomas, and parents, Earl D. Sr. and Violet Thomas.

Buster will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, “brothers”, neighbors, friends, co-workers, and especially his loyal Sparky’s family.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no viewing hours and he will be interred at Washington Crossing National Cemetery with full honors on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 2 pm. Family and friends can gather at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough at 1:00pm. The procession will depart at 1:10pm promptly. If you wish to go directly to the Cemetery, please arrive no later than 1:45pm.

Memorial contributions can be made in Buster’s name to the Washington Crossing National Cemetery or any other veteran association of your choice.
