Deborah “Debbie” Brophy
Deborah (Thomas) Brophy passed away on Saturday, December 12 in Bristol, PA at the age of 67, six months to the day of the passing of her daughter, Kimberly Rossi.
Born June 1953 in St Charles, Virginia, Debbie was raised in Willingboro, New Jersey and lived in Bristol Borough since the 1980s. She worked many jobs including one where she assembled Tiffany style lamps. She was an active volunteer with Code Blue, the community meal, and Vacation Bible School at Calvary Baptist Church in Bristol where she was a member for 17 years.
She is predeceased by her daughter Kimberly Rossi, her parents Orville and Helen Ruth Thomas, and her brother David Thomas. She is survived by her husband John Brophy, Sr., daughter Marie Brophy, and son John Brophy, Jr. and his wife Kimm all of Bristol, and her son-in-law Mark Rossi of Levittown. She is also survived by her sisters: Diane Jones and her husband Dave of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey and Delories Hopper and her husband Charles of Temple, Texas.
Debbie is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren: Krystal & Alex Haley of Bristol Township, Jordan Wood, Kyliee Yordie, Brynlee Paul, and Kristen Casey of Bristol Borough, and Hope Haley and her daughter Emma Coleman of Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Memorial services will happen after the COVID-19 pandemic issues are resolved. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
