Dante Peter Sassi

Dante Peter Sassi passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Lower Bucks Hospital.  He was 95.  Born in Star Junction, Pa., he has been a Levittown resident for the past 60 years.  Mr. Sassi was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in WWII as a Military Police Officer.  He retired after 44 years of service from U.S. Steel Fairless Works.  Mr. Sassi graduated from Frazier High School where he was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame.   He was a lifelong Penn State football fan and enjoyed golfing, but he especially enjoyed the time spent with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   

Predeceased by his son, Mark Sassi, he is survived by his beloved wife, Trudy Sassi, his loving children, Kris Sassi and his wife, Joanne, Natalie Krawiec and her husband, Tom and his devoted grandchildren; Amy, Eric, and Alan Sassi, Bryan and Jeffrey Krawiec and Daniel and Kristen Sassi and his great-grandchildren, Nicolas and Albreric.  He is also survived by 1 brother, Lee Sassi, 3 sisters; Jemma Anderson, Mary Wilkie, Leona Swetts, his daughter-in-law, Dorothy Sassi, along with many nieces and nephews.  He was also predeceased by his brother, Isadore Sassi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, 7:30pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  Friends may call from 6:00pm until time of Service.  Interment at Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be held privately.
