Danny R. Smyth, Jr.

Danny R. Smyth, Jr., a life-long resident of Bristol, PA passed away suddenly Monday, June 6, 2022 at his home at the age of 43.  

Danny is survived by the love of his life, his wife and companion of 28 years Melissa Ayala Smyth.  He is also survived by his eternally proud and loving parents Daniel Sr and Donna Lee Smyth, brother David Smyth, his maternal grandparents Jasper and Marylee Caro, his nieces, Jaden, Logan, Janelle, and Charlize.  He is also forever loved and survived by his father and mother-in-law Augusto and Nydia Ramirez, his sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Charles Deshield, along with his pet and loyal companion Chica. He is predeceased in death by his paternal grandmother Pat Ferrara. Danny is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who became brothers.   A special thanks to Jeff Lutz, John McCarty, and Colin O'Donnell for their extraordinary dedication to Dan and their friendship.  

Danny was born on July 3, 1978.  He graduated from Bristol High School class of 1996 where he excelled in all sports and was inducted into the Bristol High School Athletic Hall of Fame.  Danny attended LaSalle College where he played football.  Danny made a career as an electrical engineer for the Electrical and Laborers Union.  Danny loved the mountains, fishing, the beach, travelling, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.  Danny was an empathetic, passionate, and loving person.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the honor to know him.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Friday evening, June 17, 2022 from 7:00-9:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
