Cornelius “Neil” Vander Borght

Cornelius “Neil” Vander Borght passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at his home. Born in Lodi, New Jersey, he raised his family in Vernon and West Paterson, NJ (now Woodland Park). Later in life, he moved to Bucks County to be closer to his family. Neil was a successful small business owner and an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, classic cars, music, and spending time with his family. He was best known for his sense of humor, kindness and generosity.

Neil is survived by his son Cornelius Errol Vander Borght, his daughter Vanessa Ann Tomlinson (nee Vander Borght), her husband Christopher Clark Tomlinson and their sons Zachary Christopher and Shane Michael Tomlinson. He is also survived by his sister Helena Brady (nee Vander Borght) and her husband Daniel F. Brady Sr. He was preceded in death by his father Cornelius Anthony Vander Borght, mother Helen Madeline Vander Borght (nee Antonucci), aunt Katherine Rita Antonucci and nephew Daniel F. Brady Jr.

The family welcomes family and friends to attend his Funeral Mass on Friday, September 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Celebration of Life to follow mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Neil’s name to the Ross Summer Lab at the Jefferson Korman Respiratory Institute. Dr. Summer was Neil’s pulmonary doctor who specializes in Pulmonary Fibrosis Research.
