May 9, 1941 - August 2, 2024

Christian "Chris" E. Ramus passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.  He was 83.  Born in Croydon, son of the late Godfrey and Irene (nee Sautter) Ramus, he was a lifelong Croydon resident.  Chris was an alumna of Del Haas High School, Class of 1959, and climbed the ranks at PECO over 37 years, retiring as a Supervisor.  He was an avid hunter, loved to travel with his wife and family, spent hours "tinkering" in his garage, and enjoyed all types of car racing.

Predeceased by the love of his life and soulmate, Rose (nee Nocito) Ramus, and his son Darin Ramus, he is survived by his son, Chris Ramus, and his wife, Jackie, his granddaughters, Patricia Rose Ramus and Christa Ramus, and his granddogs, Ruby, Sugar, Duke, and Delphi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 9-11:00am, followed by Words of Remembrance at 11:00am, at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  Interment, Bristol Cemetery. Guests are encouraged to pay homage to Chris by wearing your favorite hat and shorts, his attire of choice.
