Charles E. Brady

Charles E. Brady passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Legacy Gardens, Bristol. He was 87 and just shy of his 88th birthday. Born in Bristol Borough, son of the late Hubert and Catherine Downs Brady, he was a true Bristolian with great knowledge of the town's history. Charles attended St. Mark School and was a United States Army Veteran. He retired in 1994 after many years of service at Rohm & Haas Co. Charles was an avid sports fan with the New England Patriots being his favorite NFL team but his true passion was the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. His rule of thumb in his house was "Don't call the house during March Madness Basketball".

He is now reunited with his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret "Peggy" Brady, who passed away in 2015, and is survived by his children, Catherine Casmirri (John), Charles D. Brady (Shirley), Shawn Brady (Nancy) and Leah Ann McColgan (Michael). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Chiara Casmirri, Richard Casmirri (Crystal), Alyssa Casmirri (Matt), Phylicia Demuro (Charles), Shane Brady (Jen), Daulton Brady (Ashley), Zachary Brady (Destiny), and Ryan and Danny McColgan. Also survived by his great-grandchildren, John, Richie, and Brynly Casmirri, Amelia, Charlie and Alivia Demuro, Ava Brady and Logan and Jack Brady.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Legacy Garden for the excellent care extended to Charles.
