Dr. M. C. Brown II shared a condolence

Sending prayers forth. I love me some Deaconess Charlena Fletcher. She was steadfast in love, unmovable from the General Assembly secretary table, and always abounding in the faith and doctrine. Even during the years I was not an official member of the church, she ALWAYS treated me the same. She was one of the people I looked forward to seeing every year in Nashville. A strong, committed, faithful example of Christ’s love. She was a treasure to me, the House of God, and the Body of Christ. Praying fervently for her family and friends at this heartbreaking loss. GOD IS FAITHFUL.

I had the pleasure to be Charlena's colleague and friend at JNJ. She was also my sewing buddy. We shared sewing ideas and techniques about our projects all the time. She was kind, pleasant and funny. I was just asking J&J friends about her this past November 3rd. I will always remember Charlena. I am attaching a picture of her that I took in December 2018. God rest her soul. My sincere condolences and prayers to the family.

Christie Brown shared a condolence

Deaconess Christie Brown, sending out prayers for the family of Deaconess Charlena Fletcher, coming into the HOGC becoming our State Secretary, I watched Deaconess Fletcher when I came to Nashville. I studied the way she conducted herself as the Assembly Secretary. When we had our State assembly I tried to use some of the things she did. As Secretary I will try my best to conduct myself the way she did. I will miss her from her desk in Nashville.

For many years, I only knew the voice of the General Assembly Secretary. As the years went by, I had the privilege to meet Deaconess Fletcher, and our friendship really flourished through the Bible College. I found her to be sincere and someone who loved the Lord and the House of God Church. I will certainly miss the voice and the relationship we developed. My prayers and condolences to the family.

Rich Conti shared a condolence

It was my pleasure to have met Charlena not long after she and James started dating and it was always a pleasure to be with her. I attended their wedding and even though James and I no longer worked in the same location, we remained friends for many years and I saw him and Charlena from time to time. I was shocked to learn of her death and my wife and I offer our deepest sympathy to James for his loss.
