Catherine D. Messinger

Catherine D. Messinger passed away on Sunday, April 11,2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 65. Born in Los Angeles, daughter of the late George and Coral Angebranndt, she has been a Levittown resident most of her life. Catherine was very proud that she put herself through school while raising her children and became a CFO and CPA. She loved gardening, dancing, the beach at Wildwood, doing crafts and sewing, collecting Longaberger baskets, and was a Disney fanatic, but most especially cherished her time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Wainwright and his wife, Laura, Jessica Wainwright and Zachary Messinger, and her beloved grandchildren, Wyatt Wainwright and Michelle Messinger. She is also survived by her siblings, Diane Crocker (Michael), Bryan Angebranndt (Leslie), Eric Angebranndt (Mi Ae), Gerald Angebranndt, and Lisa Angebranndt (the late Dale Poe), her niece, Stephanie McGonigle (Ken) and their son, Jude and nephew, Nicholas Angebranndt. She was also predeceased by her brother, Kurt Angebranndt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Life Celebration on Thursday, April 22, 2021, from 7-9:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
