Catharine Hartman

Catharine Hartman passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital, New Jersey. She was 81 years old. Born in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (nee Graff) Strockbine, she was a Croydon resident prior to moving to Williamstown, New Jersey 25 years ago. Mrs. Hartman was employed as a Data Processor at the IRS, retiring after many years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Reis (Jeffrey) and Joseph Hartman (Linda); her grandchildren, Lisa Hartman, Joseph Hartman III (Siobhan), Becca Booth, Catharine Tolomeo (James), Carah Booth, Jeffrey Reis, Jarred Reis, and Claire Reis; along with 10 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Fannie Strockbine (Mary Mccreery) & many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, George Strockbine and Robert Strockbine; her sister, Marie Moravek; and her son, Timothy Hartman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 10:00am until 12:00 noon, followed by her Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 noon, at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund.
