Carolyn Mae Onimus
Carolyn Mae Onimus passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at her home. She was 77. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Claudius Charles and Wilhelmina Davenport, she resided most of her life in the Tacony section of Philadelphia and has been a Croydon resident since 1995. Mrs. Onimus was employed as a Ophthalmic Technician for various doctors offices in the area. She was a very active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was especially involved in the Ladies Guild. Mrs. Onimus will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Wife of the late Wallace W. Onimus, Jr., she is survived by her 2 daughters, Susan Voges (Gerd) and Melissa Allsop (Dino), and her grandchildren, Christopher and Matthew Follin and Ian Allsop. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Charles Davenport and William "Butch" Davenport and his wife, Deborah along with several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, January 26, 2023, 11:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call Thursday morning 10:00am until time of Service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 14100 Worthington Road, Philadelphia, Pa 19116.
