Brian Matthew Sottile
March 2, 1982 - August 22, 2023
Brian Matthew Sottile passed away on August 22, 2023 surrounded by family. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Brian Sottile and Deborah (Melko) Miles. Brian was the husband of Ashley (Nahill) Sottile. They have 3 beautiful children, Lillyanna, Alaina, and Brian. He and his family enjoyed rocking out to music, hosting holiday parties, and spending family nights together cooking and watching movies.
In addition to his parents, wife, and children he is survived by his sisters, Kelly Phelan and her husband, Adam, Kayla Sottile and her daughter, Jaelyn, his grandmother, Sarah Jane Sottile, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew, and his grandparents, Anthony Sottile and Walter and Mary Melko.
Brian's energy was one of a kind. He was always up for adventure. Brian was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, and probably considered himself to be the best outdoorsman he knew.
Not one to mince words, Brian was definitely the funniest member of his family, and most likely one of the funniest people you knew. His sense of humor, although sometimes twisted, will be greatly missed by all. Brian loved to laugh and he could find humor in almost any situation.
Brian worked in construction and took enjoyment in restoring furniture. If you've seen him recently, we are sure he showed you a picture or two.
Those who knew him best might say we are only describing one side of Brian. While some of the other choice words you may be thinking of could accurately describe him at times, when he was at his best, he truly was a loving father, husband, brother, and son - who would do anything to make his family happy.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 9:30-11:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am. Interment is private.
