Braden L. Goughler

July 28, 1948 - February 1, 2025

Braden L. Goughler passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital. He was 76 years old. Born in Oil City, Pennsylvania, son of the late Donald and Marjorie Goughler, he was a Fairless Hills resident for the past 31 years. Mr. Goughler was a United States Air Force Veteran, serving as a Sergeant in the Vietnam War and receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Star, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was employed as a Manager at Wells Fargo Bank, and after retirement, he enjoyed working part-time at the Northampton Valley Country Club for the past 20 years. Mr. Goughler was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching Philadelphia sports, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was also very proud of being married for 54 years.

Mr. Goughler is survived by his loving wife, Debra (nee Franken) Goughler; his two sons, Marc Goughler and Justin Goughler (Kathleen); one daughter, Teresa Balog; and his grandchildren, Alex Raymer, Matthew Raymer, Braden Goughler, Brett Goughler, Landen Goughler, Suzanne Balog, Corey Balog, and Joshua Balog. He is also survived by three brothers, Bogan Goughler (Cookie), Bruce Goughler (Maryann), and Barry Goughler, his sister-in-law, Mary Armstrong (Mark), and his sister-in-law, Vicki Goughler, along with several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by one brother, Boyd Goughler. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Committal Service with Full Military Honors on Friday, February 14, 2025, 11am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown. Please arrive at the cemetery by 10:45am.
