Barbara L. (nee Short) Moyer was called home to be with Our Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was 76 years old. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Theodore and Dorothy (nee Helmer) Dydek, brother Tom Short, sister Debbie Lippencott (nee Dydek), husband Ronald Sr. and her beloved son, Brian Middlemore.
Barbara is survived by her children, John Moyer (Tommy), Bob Moyer (Kathleen), Regina Moyer, Ted Moyer (Maureen), Ron Moyer, Jr. (Ania) and Helene Horst (Bill). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Matt, Scott (Laura), Erin, Kelly, Emily, Abigail, Oliwia, Gabriela, Ronnie III, Koen, Katie, Kevon and Klaire and her great-granddaughter, Ellie. She is also survived by her sisters Crystal, Ann and Mickey, as well as her brother Tony along with multiple nieces and nephews.
Barbara was born in Philadelphia, PA but has been a Croydon resident for the past 45 years. Amazingly, even though she worked a full-time job within the Bristol Township School District, she was able to find time to better the community through her works with the Croydon Acres Civic Association and as a long-time Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and traveling, but especially cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. Barb loved sharing her childhood stories and making lasting memories in Chincoteague, VA or at the Jersey Shore.
