Barbara L. Moyer

February 20, 1947 - April 18, 2023

Barbara L. (nee Short) Moyer was called home to be with Our Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was 76 years old. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Theodore and Dorothy (nee Helmer) Dydek, brother Tom Short, sister Debbie Lippencott (nee Dydek), husband Ronald Sr. and her beloved son, Brian Middlemore.

Barbara is survived by her children, John Moyer (Tommy), Bob Moyer (Kathleen), Regina Moyer, Ted Moyer (Maureen), Ron Moyer, Jr. (Ania) and Helene Horst (Bill).  She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Matt, Scott (Laura), Erin, Kelly, Emily, Abigail, Oliwia, Gabriela, Ronnie III, Koen, Katie, Kevon and Klaire and her great-granddaughter, Ellie. She is also survived by her sisters Crystal, Ann and Mickey, as well as her brother Tony along with multiple nieces and nephews.

Barbara was born in Philadelphia, PA but has been a Croydon resident for the past 45 years. Amazingly, even though she worked a full-time job within the Bristol Township School District, she was able to find time to better the community through her works with the Croydon Acres Civic Association and as a long-time Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and traveling, but especially cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. Barb loved sharing her childhood stories and making lasting memories in Chincoteague, VA or at the Jersey Shore.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, April 22, 2023, 8:00 AM -10:00 AM at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol PA 19007. Following the viewing a Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough, 1025 Radcliffe St, Bristol, PA 19007 (Across the street from Wade Funeral Home).  Interment, Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, 100 Juliette Way, Valley Forge, Pa 19481.

Mrs. Moyer was like another mom to my brother and I. Most of the Moyer clan were in Civil Air Patrol with my brother and I. The support and generosity from her and her family was amazing. Whether food, rides or a place to hangout. She was an amazing person.

Dee Thomas shared a condolence

Barb was my neighbor at the campground in Chincoteague, VA for many years. Barb would stay at her trailer for only 1-2 weeks at a time, always having family members come with her or visit. She will be missed by many.

Cookie Moyer shared a condolence

I was truly sorry to here about Barbara’s passing. When we went on the cruise to Bermuda with Linda and my Mom we had a great time and made great memories. I also have memories with you at the trailer in Virginia and when we went to New York for the Pizza Trip. You always made me feel comfortable and like a true friend. I will never forget the good times and all the Ma and Pa Kettle movies we watched. Thanks for the memories. RIP my friend
You will be missed
Love Cookie❤️❤️❤️

We had such a great time getting to know Mrs. Moyer. She and Addy really hit it off. We will be keeping everyone in prayers.
