Arthur C. Adams

Arthur C. Adams, a firefighter's firefighter, who will be truly missed by all, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Penn Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia. He was 77. Born in Riverside, NJ., he was an area resident all his life. Mr. Adams retired after 32 years from 3M Co., Bristol, where he was the plant fire chief, head of the hazmat team and a forklift instructor. He was involved in fire service for 49 years. He was past chief of Beverly Fire Co., No. 1 and past president, captain, first responder and safety officer at Bristol Fire Co., Station 51. He spent the last 10 years working as a Willingboro Traffic Guard. When not dedicating his time to fire service, he enjoyed camping, hunting, country music, riding his gold wing motorcycle and going to Disney World.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Timperio Adams, his 2 daughters, Christina and Velma, and his grandchildren, Christopher, Gabriel and Luke. He is also survived by 1 brother, Earl Evans, his mother-in-law, Rose Boyd and his 2 cats, Wednesday and Pugsley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, January 15, 2022, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may call Saturday morning 9-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bristol Fire Co., Station 51, Beverly Fire Co. No. 1 or The Bucks County Fire Fighter and EMS Memorial Honor Guard Team.
