Arlene Goulding passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the home that she shared with her loving husband Richard. Born in Bristol, daughter of the late Frank and Jesse (nee Pizzullo) Bechter, she was raised in Bristol and had been a Levittown resident since 1960. Arlene was a graduate of Bristol High School and was employed as a Supervisor at Pennsylvania Manufacturing Association for over 25 years.

Arlene cared deeply about her community and dedicated her life to making it a better place. She was active in Falls Township politics where she was the longest serving committee person. Her deep and abiding dedication to public education was evidenced by her long-time service on the Pennsbury School Board where she served as president. She was the maker of many political careers. She was a truly selfless person who embodied the Great American Ideals.

Arlene was kind and loving to her relatives, friends, and neighbors, and always made those around her feel welcomed and loved. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, relatives and friends. She especially enjoyed taking her family down to Chincoteague, Virginia to go out into the bay and fish for flounder. While there she would take her grandchildren to Assateague to see the wild horses.

Arlene will be dearly missed, but her memory will live in all of those who knew and loved her.

Goulding; she is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard Goulding; her two daughters, Cheryl Szogi and her husband, Frank, and Lynn Hanes, as well as her two grandchildren, Jessica Hanes and Kyle Hanes.
