Annette Zimmermann

Annette Zimmermann passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was 60. Born in Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Antonio Sozio and Florence (nee McCloskey) and William Bruce, she was a Tabernacle, NJ resident most of her life.Annette built her home in Tabernacle in 1990. Since establishing herself in town as a participating member of the community, she raised a family, acquired her real estate license, and organized trips for friends and family as a travel agent.
While committed to her love and work for others she always found time for herself to antique with friends, travel with family, and most importantly sit and talk with loved ones in her kitchen or on the beach.
In 1994 she started her battle with cancer that lasted the rest of her life. Throughout that time she held her family above all priorities matched only by her faith in God

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James Zimmermann, her devoted sons, Adam Zimmermann and his wife, Katherine and Eric Zimmermann and his wife, Brianna, and her cherished grandchildren, George and Fay. She is also survived by 1 brother, Rick Sozio and his wife, Elizabeth, and 1 sister, Maryangela Sozio along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 12, 2022, 10:30am at Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Road, Tabernacle, NJ. Interment, Laurel Hill Cemetery, Burlington, NJ. Friends may call Friday evening 6-8:00pm and Saturday morning 9-10:15am at the Church.

Memorial contributions in Annetteā€™s name, in lieu of flowers, are suggested to either the House for Unwed Mothers, The Discovery House Foundation, or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
