Albert (Bert) Daniel Adamson

June 1, 1940 - March 11, 2023

Albert (Bert) Daniel Adamson, 82, a lifelong resident of Bristol, PA, where he raised his nine children with his wife Marita, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. 

Bert, a retired Rohm and Haas employee, spent many hours volunteering for local organizations including the Cub Scouts and Little League.  He loved Philadelphia sports teams especially the Philadelphia Eagles.

Bert was an avid drummer and was a member of the Bracken Cavaliers and Riley Raiders.  In recent years, he loved giving drum lessons to local youth.

Bert was preceded in death by his parents Adele and William Adamson, his loving wife of almost 50 years, Marita C. Adamson, his daughter, Ann Marie Cappuccino and grandson Andrew Brehaut.    

Bert is survived by his brother William Adamson, his children Mark Brehaut (Barbara), Mary Jane Emery (George), Bernadette Perrong, Patricia Abdalla (Michael), Joseph Adamson (Missy), Michael Adamson (Kim), Matthew Adamson (Brandie), and John Paul Adamson.  Bert was blessed to find love again with Carole O’Neill, whom he shared laughter, dancing and love of the drum corp. 

He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the apple of his eye and with whom he had an individual relationship. 

He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Ann Franzen (Richard) and brother-in-law Paul Conlin, and many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.

Relatives and friends may call from 9:30am-10:30am on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30am.  Interment will be held at St. Mark Church Columbarium immediately following the Mass.   

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Bert’s name to Smile Train, Inc. at www.smiletrain.org.
