Bert was everything to me. A big brother, a father and a close friend. He always supported me and made me feel like I was as much a part of his family as his own siblings, parents and kids were. I’m glad, for his sake, that his suffering is over and that he and Marita are together again. But there is now a void in my life and in the world that can never be filled.

The Potter Family lost a great friend to all of us with the death of Bert and earlier of Marita as friends of the Adamson family. We will miss the almost of 50 years of of stories about the boy scouts,, mountain stories , umpiring softball, football, high school band shows. Eagles stories judging and playing with the drum corps. The Adamson Family had a great full life. Bert never missed all the stories, during the telephone holidays. We will miss him. Even during his time at Abington he never lost his sense of humor. The family and Carol was great keeping us informed of his health with the Baltimore contingent. We will thank you and express the sympathy to all the family and may God Bless All of You..
The Potters.

Aside from my own, the best Dad I ever knew. Met Mr. and Mrs. A. when I was a kid in 8th grade. Throughout high school, college and after, before getting married, his home is 2nd to my own where I spent most of my time. Too many happy moments, too many words of advice and encouragement to list here. This pic is one of my favorites. NFC Championship game. Last game at the Vet. Great day that we all owed to Mr. A, the architect of the best tailgates, for years. This is the smile I will remember, and the hot roast beef sandwiches. Thanks for answering my phone calls when I needed help and especially for coming to my rescue when I tried to install a fridge and flooded my kitchen in Bensalem. RIP. Legend.

A great friend, good husband and father, always willing to help. Bert also was a member of the Bristol Townwatch along with Pat Rappo, my husband James and others. Our family love and respect Bert and his wonderful family as well. We spent many good times in the mountains of Pa., where his wife Marita loved . Life is short, be good to one another. I will always remember him.

Poppop, like Mommom, there are not enough words to express how much you are loved and how you have meant to so many people. Our loss is your gain to be reunited. You have always been the father figure in not only my life but so many others. You were the true example of family first and remembering who you were and
where you came from. You taught us how to work hard and the true meaning of family. I am beyond grateful of this incredible family you have built and to be a a part of. Thank you for a lifetime of love, building of character, and pure example of strength and service. I love you always. Give hugs and kisses to Mommom, mommy and Andrew. Love ya!

Bert was a great friend, teacher, and drummer. Bert loved playing drums and I loved playing drums with him. Like others he helped, Bert helped and taught me so much. There are not enough words to express what a wonderful person Bert was to me and so many others. He will be missed by me and all the people who knew and loved him.
