Elizabeth "Betty" Licause

Elizabeth "Betty" Licause passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 91. Born in Bristol, daughter of the late Joseph and Matilda Campbell, she was a lifelong resident. In her earlier years she worked at Patterson Parchment Paper Co., before becoming a stay at home mother. She and her husband, George, were married in St. Mark Church, where she was a lifetime member, totally devoted to her Catholic faith. Betty was a founding member of the Third District Fire Co. (Station 34) Ladies Auxillary and was a strong advocate for the betterment of mentally retarded children. Betty dearly enjoyed spending Saturdays with her son, George, shopping, roaming the malls and stores and finishing their day off with lunch.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses on the first floor at St. Mary Medical Ctr for the wonderful care they provided to Betty

Wife of the late George Licause, Sr. and mother of the late George Licause, Jr., she is survived by her son, Doug Licause and his wife, Joyce and her grandsons, Phillip and Eric Licause along with many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sisters; Jane Moss, Lillian Leighton and Mae Wilson and her brothers; Frank, Nelson, and Joseph Campbell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, January 5, 2015, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may call Sunday evening 7-9:00pm and Monday morning 10-10:45am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, Pa 19007.
