William D. Vaughan

William D. Vaughan passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Aria Hospital, Bucks Campus. He was 65. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late William and Veronica (Perez) Vaughan, he resided most of his life in Croydon. Mr. Vaughan was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1969 and during his years of employment he worked for Thrift Drugs, Bristol Tea Co., and Silgan Plastics. He was a member of the Croydon Fire Company, the Harrowgate String Band in the late 70's and loved to go fishing and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Bauer Vaughan, 2 stepchildren, William Pope (Jen) and Stephanie Pope (Edward), his step-grandchildren, Edward Beck and Caitlyn, Jared, and Hailey Pope. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Vaughan, his brother, Joseph Vaughan (Keri) and 1 nephew, Nicholas Vaughan (Peggy).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Friday, October 9, 2015, 11:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough where friends may call from 10-11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Croydon Fire Co., 911 Memorial Fund, 911 State Road, Croydon, Pa 19021.
