Thomas B. Turk
Thomas B. Turk passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was 75. Born in McKeesport, Pa., he moved to West Bristol in 1951. His strong work ethic started at an early age delivering neighborhood newspapers and shining shoes. He was an active reserve member of the US Air Force from 1963-1970. Tom was employed as a Chief Auditor for the State of New Jersey, Department of Labor. Son of the late Charles L. and Cecelia Turk, he has been a resident of Langhorne for the past 46 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Diane J. (Tisone) Turk, his daughter, Anna Hysore and her husband, Ken and was the beloved Poppy of Emily Hysore. Tom is also survived by his brother, Charles B. Turk and his wife, Elena; his sister, Sandra L. Turk; his brother-in-law, Richard Tisone and his wife, Patricia and their children, Richie Tisone, Alyssa Tisone, Angela Godfrey and her husband, Ryan; his nephew, Eric J. Turk and his wife, Michelle and their children, Kaitlyn and Kelly along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Monday, November 6, 2017, 10:00am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Avenue Penndel, Pa. Interment, private. Friends may call 9-10:00am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one's choice, in Tom's name, would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
