Thomas J. Swank passed away suddenly on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Aria Hospital, Langhorne, Pa. He was 63. Born in Bristol, son of the late James and Alice Swank, he has been a Fairless Hills resident for the past 23 years. Mr Swank retired from Giles and Ransom and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 542. He enjoyed trout fishing and was an avid deep sea fisherman. Mr Swank was a dedicated father who coached Little League baseball for Levittown Pacific and never missed his children's sporting events.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 40 years, Patricia (Keefer) Swank, his children, Beth Swank and James L. Swank (Michelle Eysenbach-Swank). He was the beloved Poppop to Lillian Julia Swank and Lincoln James Swank, whom he loved dearly. Also survived by Skip and Sharon Keefer , Alicia Keefer, nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 7-9:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of ones choice.
