Teresa L. Sakowski

Teresa L. Sakowski passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at her home. Born in Shenandoah, Pa, daughter of the late Walter and Evelyn Czepukaitis, she had been a Levittown resident for the past 60 years. Mrs. Sakowski was a Registered Nurse starting her career at Locust Valley Hospital in Shenandoah and retired after many years from Lower Bucks Hospital ER. Teresa always liked to say she was a full-time chauffer for her husband and son and a part-time nurse. She was a devout member of St. Mark Church, a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and a volunteer for Bristol Cultural and Historical Foundation.

Predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Sakowski, her son, Edward F. Sakowski, and her brother, Walter Cepukaitis, she is survived by 3 grandchildren; Brian W. (Amy), Kathryn T., Erik T. Sakowski and extended family Mason, Tricia, Timothy(Jen), Abigail and Charlotte Stringfellow, her sister-in-law; Ann Cepukaitis, nephew; Walter Cepukaitis and 2 nieces; Alexis Cepukaitis and Regina Pleva, as well as 2 great-nieces; Christan Daniels and Teresa Newswanger, 1 great-nephew Bryce Woodward.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, February 23, 2015, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough, where friends may call from 10:00am until time of Mass. Interment at Our Lady of Dawn Cemetery, Shenandoah, Pa will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia(CHOP), 3401 Civic Center Blvd., Phila., Pa 19104 or the ASPCA, www.aspca.org/donate.
