Sylvia P. Dugan

Sylvia P. Dugan passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Hahnemann University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was 76. Born in Bristol Borough, daughter of the late Richard and Helen Tisone, she was a lifelong Bristol resident. Mrs. Dugan was a graduate of Delhaas High School and retired after 25 years of service teaching hearing impaired children for the Bucks County Intermediate Unit and prior to that worked for the Bristol Township School District. She enjoyed cooking for her family and entertaining in her dining room. She often lunched with her friends and spent time with "club". Her favorite travel spot was the beach at Long Beach Island. Most especially she adored her grandchildren and great-grandson and spending time surrounded by her family.


She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Michael Dugan, her children, Michael Dugan Jr. and his wife, Anne, Mark Dugan and his wife, Denise and Melissa Dugan-Dryjowicz. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Michael Anthony, Taylor Lynne, Breanne, Ross, Max, Cam, and her great-grandson, Austin. Mrs. Dugan is also survived by her sister, Diane Turk and her husband, Thomas, her brother, Richard Tisone and his wife, Patricia, her sister-in-law, Kathi Mandelaro along with several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, 10:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. Friends may call Monday evening 7-9:00pm and Tuesday morning 9-10:00am at the Funeral Home.
