Ronald Moyer, Sr.
Ronald Moyer, Sr. passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, after a long battle with kidney cancer. He was 72. Born in Philadelphia, he had been a lifelong resident of Croydon. Ron was a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Ron worked as a welder for over 30 years with The Budd Co. in North Philadelphia. He loved to paint and gardening in his retired years.
Ron is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara (Short) Moyer, his children; John (Tommy Faught) of Marietta, Ga, Robert (Kathleen Powell) of Warminster, Pa, Regina (Karen Beasley) of Coatesville, Pa., Theodore (Maureen Powell) of Croydon, Pa., Ronald Jr. (Anna Lukaszczyk) of Bridesburg, Pa, and Helene (William Horst) of Horsham, Pa. Also survived by his grandchildren; Matthew, Scott, Erin, Kelly, Emily, Abbey, Koen, Katie, Kevon, Klaire, Oliwia, Gabi and his brother, Robert of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Dolores and his brother, Daniel, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Thursday, November 9, 2017, 12Noon at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Friends may call 11-12Noon.
