Richard Cordingly Sr.

Richard Cordingly Sr. passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was 69. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Harold and Ada Cordingly, he has been a Croydon resident most of his life. Mr. Cordingly was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was employed as a Sheet Metal Mechanic at Web Craft for over 20 years and was a member of the VFW Schumacher Post 1597, Croydon, Pa. He enjoyed fishing and working with his hands.

He is survived by his wife, Janis (nee Tomlinson) Cordingly, his 3 children, Richard Cordingly Jr., Ronald Cordingly (Carla), and Jennifer North, his grandchildren, Megan Renee Fisher, Justine Nephew, Ryan Cordingly and Matthew, Brian and Evan North, and his great-grandchildren, Addison and Aiden Fisher. He is also survived by 1 sister, Doris Bechter and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 11:00am - 1:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Ste 150, Blue Bell, Pa 19422.
