Michael W. Ramsey

Michael W. Ramsey passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, surrounded by his loving family. He was 60 years old. Born in Bristol, Michael was a lifelong resident of Levittown’s Crabtree Neighborhood. Son of Sally Savaikus and the late Franklin W. Ramsey. Michael was a graduate of Delhaas High School, Class of 1976 and was employed at General Motors, retiring after 25 years. He was a proud member of the United Auto Workers Union. He volunteered at the Mercer County CYO for many years. He enjoyed music, wood working, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, but most he loved spending time with his grandson Max.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Janet Drum Ramsey, his children, Julia Ramsey (David Hewitt), Nicholas Ramsey (Brianna Curran), and his grandson, Max Ramsey. Michael is also survived by his mother, Sally Savaikus, 4 sisters, Karen Wnek, Sharon Barlow, Paula Ramsey, and Becky Ramsey along with many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by his stepfather, Anthony Savaikus.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass on Thursday, November 15, 2018, 10:00am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown. Interment, private. Friends may call Wednesday evening 7-9:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough and Thursday morning from 9:00am until time of Mass, at the Church.
