Mary Pierro

Mary Pierro (nee Monachello) passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Silver Lake Nursing and Rehab Center. She was 90. Born on Valentines Days 1926, the youngest daughter of the late Andrea and Mattia Monachello , she was a lifelong Bristol Borough resident. She was a kind, gentle and loving person to all. Mary worked at Barker and Williamson, RCA and Vector and before her retirement worked at Keystone Lighting for 27 years. She was an active member of St. Ann Church, Bristol, where she had volunteered at St. Ann Bingo, the St. Ann Carnival and the booth on Italian Day, making the Italian specialty "pizza fritta". She enjoyed traveling as a member of the Golden Marks Senior Citizens and the Lower Bucks Senior Activity Center.

Mary will be greatly missed by her devoted daughter, Linda Roe and her husband, Joe, grandsons, Vincent Roe, Joseph Roe and his wife, Kristin and great-grand-daughters, Brooklyn and Frankie Roe, her best friends since childhood, Laura Spadaccino and Mary Cugasi. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Peg Monachello, Anna Marie Monachello and Peggy Graue-Monachello. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Joseph Pierro, to whom she was married 61 years; infant son, Joseph Vincent; her parents, sisters, Rose Magro (Louis), Frances (George), brothers, John, Sebastian, Andrew and Bill (Laura), sisters-in-law, Ann Monachello, Angie Gulotta (Natale), Jeanette Pierro, Betty Pagano (Sam), Ann Brenna (Tony), brothers-in-law, Leonard (Sarah), Frank (Rose), Mike (Mary), Louis and Anthony and friends since childhood, Gloria Fink, Angie Sinacori and Carmella Caucci.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 10am at St. Ann Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery. Friends may call 9-10:00am at the Church.
