Lucy Bosco passed away on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at Manor Care, Yardley, surrounded by her loving family. She was 100. Born in Scranton, Pa., daughter of the late Julius and Helen Karjewski, she has been a Bristol resident for over 70 years. Mrs. Bosco was employed at 3M Co., Wanamaker's Department Store and also cleaned houses. She was a devoted and active member at St. Ann Church, volunteered with the Red Cross, enjoyed word search puzzles and was a fantastic cook, loved spending time with her family most especially her grandchildren.
Wife of the late Francis Salvatore Bosco, mother of the late John Bosco and Johanna Crosby and grandmother of the late Sharon Carp and Tony Farro, she is survived by her children, Frank Bosco and his wife, Patty, Danny Bosco and his wife, Marie, and Lucy Karp and her husband, Wiley, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Stella Colango, Rose Tameo and Theresa Connors and predeceased by 2 sisters, Mary Dawson and Helen Hudson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, 10:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. Friends may call Monday evening 7-9:00pm and Tuesday morning 8:30-9:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
