Linda Webber

Linda Webber passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania surrounded by her family.

Linda was born at home on Christmas morning, 1947 in Lower Frederick Township, PA.  She was the daughter of the late William Leon Gaugler and Pearl Mae Scheffey, and the sister of the late Barry L. Gaugler.

Linda was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and retired from the Northeast Surgery Center, Dixon City, PA.  Linda previously worked at the Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock; Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia; and the Reading Hospital, Reading, PA

Linda loved to travel, and enjoyed many vacations to the Jersey Shore with her family.  Besides traveling, Linda also enjoyed many trips to the theatre in New York and Philadelphia, and working on costume design with her nephew,  Michael for his school musicals.  Linda was an enthusiastic advocate for animal rescue, and adopted many dogs over her lifetime.

Linda is survived by her sister, Susan Pirollo (George) of Bristol, PA; her brother Mark Gaugler of Laureldale, PA; her niece Theresa Lawless (Christian) of Bristol, PA; her nephew Michael Pirollo of West Newbury, MA; and her great nieces, Morgan and Sydney. She is also survived by many cousins and special friends, and her loving and faithful pets, Flora and Lena.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 30th at St Paul Lutheran Church, 7652 SR 6W, Tunkhannock, PA.  The family will receive visitors from 11AM to time of service at 11:30AM.  Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
