Joseph L. Walker, Jr.

Joseph L. Walker, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Temple University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.  He was 64.  Born and raised in Bristol, he was a lifelong resident.  Joe was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School, Class of 1971 and was self-employed as a dispatcher in the trucking industry for many years.  He coached his children at St. Ann CYO Basketball and will be remembered as a devoted husband and family man who truly enjoyed spending time with his family.  

Predeceased by his father, Joseph L. Walker, Sr. he is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Gerome) Walker, his children; Christina Stackhouse and her husband, Mason and Matthew Walker and his wife, Kerilyn, and his grand-daughters, "his 5 angels", Madison Rose, Jordyn Marie, Anabelle Grace, Lucie Cecilia and Stella Victoria.  He is also survived by his mother, Theresa (Ferry) Walker, his sisters; Rosemary Walker, and Patricia Fida and her husband, Joseph and his brother, Ron Walker and his wife, Veronica,  his nieces and nephews; Julie, Katie, Jessica, Joey and Janine along with several other nieces, nephews  cousins, his brother-in-law, Armond Gerome and sister-in-law, Anita Teaney.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough.  Interment, St. Mark Cemetery.  Friends may call 8:30-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mark School, 1024 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, Pa 19007
