John Lawrence Finley

John Lawrence Finley passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Hospice, Meadowbrook, Pa, with his loving family by his side. He was 70. Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Francis X. and Catherine Mergen Finley, he has been a Bristol Township resident for the past 10 years. John was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty H.S. and was employed for many years as a machinist at Delp and Jade Tool and Die. He was a past vice-president and Baseball, Basketball and Soccer coach for Holy Terrors Youth Organization.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Saranna McQuillan Finley, his children; Saranna Marie Elkner (David), Ann Marie Rygalski (Michael), Shawn Patrick Finley (Beth Orvis),and Brian Patrick Finley (Stephen Lee), 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 expected to arrive shortly. He is also survived by 1 sister, Frances Denahan (Francis X.).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass on Friday, May 15, 2015, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Inurnment, St. Mark Cemetery. Friends may call Friday morning 9:30-10:45am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations can made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
