Jean M. Wooley (Moser)
Jean M. Wooley (Moser), age 57, of Langhorne Manor, PA died December 16, 2017 while in hospice care at Chandler Hall having lost her strong 14-month battle with cancer. Jean was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her death. Born on August 25, 1960 in Bristol, PA, Jean spent much of her life in the Lower Bucks area before moving to Elkhart, IN in 1993. Raised in Bensalem, PA she attended St. Ephrem School and was a 1978 graduate of Bishop Conwell High School. Although working for many years at Newtown Answering Service in Newtown, PA, her life’s work was her children. She went to great lengths to provide her children opportunities, experiences, and support that allowed them to find their passion in life. Jean was smart, witty, creative, hard-working, and supremely selfless. She could find a solution to any problem whether it be a home-improvement project, sewing a Halloween costume or prom dress, or offering advice and guidance to her family and friends. She had a gift for knowing just the right gesture or sentiment to let family, close friends, and even strangers know they were loved. Jean was an avid gardener, she loved the simplicity of nature and the beauty of colorful flowers. Jean will be remembered for her generosity, selflessness and sense of humor.
Jean is survived by her husband of 30 years, Patrick Wooley, her four children Mary Wooley (Courtney Robinson) of Columbia, SC, Katherine Wooley of Brooklyn, NY, sons Joseph and Daniel Wooley of Langhorne Manor, PA, and grandson Hayes Wooley Robinson of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by her mother Shirley Moser (Zink), five brothers, David Moser II, Kevin Moser, Thomas Moser, Daniel Moser, Lawrence Moser, her sister Catherine Ciambella (Moser), and her many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Jean was preceded in death by her father David Moser, sister Patricia Moser, and brothers Joseph Moser and Brian Moser.
Relative and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 21, 2017 10:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening 6-9:00pm and Thursday morning 8:30-9:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Str., Bristol Borough.
