Jean Stuart Chichilitti

Jean Stuart Chichilitti passed into eternal peace on February 1, 2019 at St. Mary’s hospice unit in Langhorne, surrounded by her loving family. She was born 88 years ago to Alice and Herman Horn in Bel Air, Maryland.  As a teenager she shared most of her time with her best friend, Julie Heierling, creating special memories. She graduated from Bristol High School. After her marriage to Jonathan Chichilitti, she worked at the Pennsylvania Railroad, then moved on to the Internal Revenue Seasonal Service, spending her summers at the Jersey shores. She retired after 25 years as a tax examiner. After ending her career, she and her husband became summer residents of Woodbine, New Jersey and winter residents of Brooksville, Florida for over 25 years.  Returning to Pa in 2018.
She raised her family with her husband in West Bristol.  While working full time, she participated as room mother and was active in the PTA for all her children. She hosted many family gatherings for over four decades. She loved to play cards, knit, sew, and baked hundreds of cookies to give away during the holidays to family and friends. She enjoyed cooking seafood, Italian food, and entertaining around many summer campfires, followed by a day at the beach with all the Moms and their kids.

She is a breast cancer and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma survivor of over twenty years and lived her life with a remarkable positive attitude that provided her the courage to go on after each incident.  More recently she was teaching a new card game to her co-residents in her current home in The Village Apartments at Attleboro in Langhorne. Her life ended with peace and satisfaction knowing that her family were strongly influenced by her and her husband.  Forever knowing that her children, humble and grateful, would live on believing that their parents continuous love and support have helped them create their own precious worlds. Peace be with you Mom and Dad. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your love and sacrifice for your family.

She is survived by her loving sister,  Riva Bradford, and her beloved children,  Jonathan Jr. (Evonne), Michael (Linda Hall) and loving daughter, Terri Simone (Michael), her precious grandchildren, Caryn Hathaway(Joe),  Jonathan Chichilitti (Melissa), Danielle Ramus (Robert), and Jesse Wolfgang (Carly Boos), and priceless great-grandchildren,  Alisan,  JJ, and Tyler Hathaway, Michael and Katelyn Chichilitti, CJ Roach, Juliana and Jaxon Ramus, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband,  Jonathan Sr. (2018), sister, Eva Templeton (Richard) and her brothers and sisters- in- law, Matthew Pizzola, Robert Bradford, Carmella Barber (Elmer), John (Rose), Clementine (David), Frank (Jenny), Mike (Hazel), Cornelius, Nathaniel (Sue), David (Sylvia), Ruth (Ray) Brickner, and Esther.
Her family would like to sincerely thank the nursing staff at St. Mary Hospital Cardiac and Hospice units for their exceptional and compassionate care.
