James W. Schum

James W. Schum passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015, with his family by his side, at Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse. He was 57. Born in Philadelphia, son of late Louis and Ida Schum, he has resided in Croydon most of his life. Jim was employed as a Water Treatment Plant Operator for Waste Management at Grows Landfill. He was a member of the Penn Warner Club and loved fishing, camping and hunting.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Joan (Segeske) Schum, his loving children; James W. Schum, Jr. and Shannon Schum and his grandson; Landen. He is also survived by 1 brother, Louis Schum (Deborah), 1 sister; Diane Pitts and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, 11:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may call Wednesday morning, 9-11:00am at the funeral home.
