James Vincent Coles Sr

James Vincent Coles Sr passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home in Langhorne, Pa. He was 80. Son of the late Robert Coles and Agnes (née Dougherty) Coles, he was born and raised in Bristol Borough, and was a graduate of Bristol High School. Jim was a veteran of the U.S Air Force and was employed for many years as a retail clerk for PLCB. He was very proud of his Irish heritage, was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Michael Dougherty Division 1, Bristol, and was one of the founders of the Levittown American Girls Softball League and umpired both fast and slow pitch softball in the Lower Bucks area.

Predeceased by his daughter, Barbara Ann, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia Obara Coles, his children, James V. Coles Jr (Cindy), Lisa Reider (James), William Coles, Ann Marie Pearl, Mark Coles, Sherry Obara, and Robert Obara. He is also survived by 1 brother, John Coles (Judi), 19 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by 3 sisters, Dorothy Steinbraunn, Agnes Rodgers, and Kathleen Goodnow and 2 brothers, Robert Coles and George Coles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, 11:30am at St Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment , Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening 7-9:00pm and Wednesday morning 10:30-11:15am at the Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
