George H. Knelly

George H. Knelly passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 89. Born in Oneida, Pa, son of the late Frederick and Leah Knelly, he has been a Levittown resident for the past 52 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in the Phillipines during WWII. Mr. Knelly was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator with The Operating Engineers, Local 542 for 53 years and was a member of the Langhorne Rod and Gun Club and the American Legion John F. Billington Post, Levittown.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elvira (nee Snyder) Knelly, his children, Dayle Williams and her husband, Donald, and Bruce F. Knelly and his wife, Denise, 5 grandchildren, Jameson Kravcak, Carey Risley, Kevin Kravcak, Brandi Knelly and Jessica Knelly, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 nieces and 2 nephews. He was predeceased by 1 brother and 1 sister.

Interment of cremated remains will be held privately at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown, Pa Arrangements are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
