George R. Boddice

George R. Boddice passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Buckingham Valley Nursing Home. He was 82. Born in Monesson, Pa, son of the late Herbert and Irene Murray Boddice, he resided in the Edgely section of Bristol Township for over 20 years, moving to Florida for many years and has been a resident of Feasterville/Trevose for the past 10 years. Mr. Boddice was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War and retired after 30 years of service as a Chemist for U.S. Steel, Fairless Works and was a lifetime member of John Billington VFW Post No. 6495, Levittown.

Husband of over 60 years to the late Constance J. Boddice, he is survived by his loving children; Connie Herman, Angela Walker (Teddy), George Boddice, and JoAnne Wolf (John), his 6 grandchildren; John Herman (Crystal), Adam Lautenbacher (Dana Marie), Ryan Lautenbacher (Dana), Matthew Wolf, Jackie Wolf and Evan Boddice (Lyndsi), 6 great-grandchildren; RJ, Kyle, and Zachary Lautenbacher, Kaylee Herman, Evan Boddice, Jr. and Victor Lautenbacher. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, John Cole (Laverne) along with many nieces and nephews. Mr. Boddice was predeceased by 1 brother; John Murray, and 2 sisters; Alberta Gerlock and Madonna Boddice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing this evening, Thursday, June 11, 2015, 7-9:00pm with a Christian Burial service to be held at 8:00pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Ks 66675.
