Florence Sell passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Yardley, Pa on Saturday, September 22, 2018. She was 96. Born in Girardville, Pa, daughter of the late Dominic and Anna Scioli, she was a resident of Levittown since 1959. Mrs. Sell worked as a Rosie the Riveter during WWII and also was employed at the Bud Company in Philadelphia and at U.S. Steel, Fairless Hills. She was a member of the Junewood Women's Club, the St. Michael's Parkway Players and the Sons of Italy in Yardley. Mrs. Sell loved to sing and was a longtime member of St. Michael the Archangel Church Choir.
Wife of the late Phaon Sell and mother of the late John Sell, she is survived by her loving children, Carol Swain (Fred), Linda Hinds (Roger), Donna Jukus (Ray), Virginia Kowzun (Edward), Mary Sell and Joseph Sell (Maria). She will be sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday, September 27, 2018, 10:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, St. Mark Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening 7-9:00pm and Thursday morning 9-9:45am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
