Eugene G. Kehoe, Sr.

Eugene G. Kehoe, Sr. passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at his residence, The Birches of Newtown Pa.  He was 94.  Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa, December 15, 1923, son of the late Joseph and Cecelia Kehoe, he resided most of his life in Bristol Township.  Gene will be remembered as a Politician in Bristol Township, serving first as Commissioner of the Third Ward and later as Tax Collector/Treasurer, spending many hours working for the betterment of his constituency.  Mr. Kehoe was a member of St. Mark Church and was the last surviving charter member of the Third District Fire Co.  He was a WWII Army veteran,  attended University of Maryland and was a member of I.B.E.W. Trenton Local 269 for 72 years.   
Husband of the late Marcella M. (McLaughlin) Kehoe and father of the late, Regina M. Burke, he is survived by his 2 sons, Eugene G. Kehoe, Jr. (Bonnie Jean) and Joseph E. Kehoe; 6 daughters, Dorothy F. Ausburn, Elaine H. LaPrete (Thomas), Susan J. Morford (Scott), Kathleen Luksic (John), Joanne E. Smith (William) and Marcella M. Ormsby (Joseph).  He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 3, 2018, 11:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough.  Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.  Friends may call Saturday morning from 9-10:30am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mark Church,1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol,  Pa  19007.
