Erica Mancuso Meloni
Erica Mancuso Meloni, 40, passed away peacefully, in the early morning of Wednesday, May 24th, from complications due to breast cancer.
She is survived by her husband Nick Meloni and daughter, Lily of Yardley, her parents Cynthia and Al Mancuso of Bristol, brother, Joseph Mancuso of Bristol, and grandmother, Lily Caucci of Bristol, as well as a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
As she rocked life with unparalleled spirit and vivacity, Erica’s impact on all who had the pleasure to know her will long survive with her memory. Her footprint on this world was unmistakable as she passed in the company of dozens of family members and close friends at the Chandler Hospice Center in Newtown. Erica both gave and received an enormous amount of support from her cancer survivor group, Bucks County Breast Friends. She was a very active member of the Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School PTA. She thoroughly enjoyed socializing, partying and shopping. She was a fixture in the lives of everyone she met.
Born and raised in Bristol, Erica graduated from West Virginia University where she was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She worked alongside a wonderfully supportive array of co-workers at Media Enterprises in Trevose for the past 14 years. She was married to her dedicated “Buddy” , Nick Meloni in 2006 and gave birth to their free spirited ball-of-fire, Lily, in 2008. They moved to Yardley in 2011.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Gathering on Saturday May 28that the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the education fund for Lily Meloni.
