Elmer H. Wiley

Elmer H. Wiley passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Manor Care, Yardley. He was 89. Born in Morrisville, Pa., he has been a Bristol Borough resident for over 65 years. Mr. Wiley was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was employed for many years at Volcanized Rubber and Plastics in Morrisville and later at Silvi Conrete and as a bus driver for Lion Tours. He was a member of St. Mark Church, the VFW, John Billington Post, the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph the Worker Council, the Morrisville Elks, the Bristol Moose Lodge and the Bristol Senior Center.

Husband of the late Stella Jablonski Wiley, and father of the late Wayne Wiley, he is survived by 1 son, Donald Wiley and his wife, Susan, 2 grandchildren, Colleen Cottom and her husband, Jeff and Matthew Wiley and his fiancée, Crystal Stutzman and her son, Dillon and 1 great-grand-daughter, Brienna. He is also survived by 1 step-brother, Walter Rentner and his wife, Mary along with several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 21, 2015, 10:00am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment, private. Friends may all Friday evening 7-9:00pm and Saturday morning 9:00-9:45am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, Pa 19007 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn 38105.
