Obituary

Edward Praul

Edward Praul passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, after a lengthy illness, at St. Mary Medical Ctr., Langhorne. He was 76. Born in Bristol. son of the late Benjamin and Grace (Murphy) Praul, he was a Bristol and Levittown resident for most of his life, before moving to Flowers Mills in Langhorne. Mr. Praul was a U.S. Army Veteran, and retired after 26 years as a driver for UPS. He was actively involved with St. Michael the Archangel CYO Soccer program and was an avid fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams.

Predeceased by his daughter, Christine Praul, he is survived by his wife of 52 years, best friend and caretaker, Regina (Misiorek) Praul, 2 daughters, Theresa Montagna and her husband, John and Cynthia Gutowski and her husband, David and the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Jack, Michael and Ben. He is also survived by 4 brothers, Francis, Michael, James and John Praul and his sister, Joan Kilgore along with many nieces and nephews. Mr. Praul was also predeceased by his sister, Marie Glessner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, 11:30am at St. Mark Church, Bristol Borough. Interment will be held precisely at 1:30pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. Friends may call 10-11:15am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough.
