Edward A. Kropa

Edward A. Kropa passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at St. Mary Medical Ctr., with his loving wife, children and grandchildren at his side. He was 71. Born in Scranton, Pa., son of the late William Sr. and Minnie (Sobol) Kropa. He has been a resident of Langhorne since 1972. Mr. Kropa was owner of Northern Fire Protection since 1982, from where he retired. He enjoyed model airplane building and had his pilots license. He also enjoyed gardening, hunting, and doing projects around his house but most of all loved being with his family especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 53 years, Barbara Buntz Kropa, his loving children, Laura Lewandowski and her husband, Dave, Kim Rakita and her husband Arthur Jr. and David Edward Kropa. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Christopher and Justin Lewandowski, Brittany, Jennifer and John Rakita and Nicole and Brianna Kropa . Also survived by 1 brother, William Kropa Jr., 1 sister, Myrtle Racibor along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Gomer Kropa and a sister, Joan Erickson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, January 10, 2015, 12:30pm at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment private. Friends may call Saturday 11:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The National Kidney Foundation.
