Debra M. Strong

Debra M. Strong passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at her daughter's home in Long Pond, Pa, after a lengthy illness. She was 57. Born in Cheltenham, Pa. she was a Bristol resident most of her life and has resided in Long Pond for the past year. She was very proud of her employment in the operating room at St. Mary Medical Center. Her grandchildren were her life and she loved spending time with them.

Wife of the late John F. Strong Jr. and daughter of the late Elwood Lex, she is survived by her daughter, Danielle Smith and her husband, John, her beloved grandchildren, Madison and Walden Smith and her mother, Claire Lex. Debra is also survived by 2 brothers, William Lex and his wife, Cheri, and John Lex and his wife, Nicole, 2 sisters, Claire Caputo and her husband, Tony and Lori Michaels and her husband, Philip, her stepchildren; John Strong III and his wife, Kim, Victoria Loughran and her husband, Terry, Donald Strong and Juliana Strong and her step-grandchildren; Ian, Keeley, Megan, Caitlin, and Brandon along with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, March 31, 2016, 10:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, Pa. Her viewing hours will be Wednesday evening 7-9:00pm and Thursday morning 9-10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to National Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
